Esmé

Esmé was a surprise packet from the start. A brown & tan amongst her black & tan sisters. Charlotte Migarla, who has a Lappie from Rachael's Zuleika 'Bombe' litter, wanted her first show dog and had her eye on 'Cocoa' right from the start. But we were very hesitant for a new exhibitor to have the extra challenge of showing a non-dominant colour. But as she grew it became evident it wasn't just her colour that was special.  When Jacq arrived at 7 weeks to do the assessments she popped Cocoa under her arm and said, "Right, I can go now!" And that didn't change when Cocoa arrived at Jacq's place when she was 9 weeks old: "Message Charlie and tell her not to bother coming." So we are very excited to see what the future holds for this girl, both in the ring and as a part of our breeding program. She will be shown predominantly in Victoria, by Charlie, mentored by Jacq.
